Out of Bounds is hosting a four day long, diverse celebration of live music and entertainment coinciding with the return of the world’s greatest golf event, The Open Championship, to the Ayrshire coastal town. The programme has been curated by the promoters behind WinterStorm and South Beach Sessions, aimed at being attractive to visitor and local alike and we're sure that every event will be a celebration of international dimensions.
Located in the centre of the town Troon Concert Hall is situated less than two kilometres from The Open Championship venue at Royal Troon and half that to the railway station - it is right at the bus stop for the Free Shuttle running from the course so pop in for a wee look! The abundance of trains during The Open Championship make it the best way to get to each concert.
The venue is used each year to host WinterStorm, the international indoor rock festival, and offers three rooms with two stages, two large bars and a Scottish themed menu. Plenty of space, plenty of seating and easy access to and from the hotels, pubs restaurants in town and will be adjacent to the drop off point of the FREE shuttle bus from Royal Troon which stops outside.
The Main Live Music Stage will feature full sets from Tide Lines, The Skids, Eddi Reader, Blue Rose Code and Clann an Drumma along with a special Over 25's "Spirit of Pebbles Revisited" Tribute Band Party Night featuring the sounds of Bowie, Simple Minds and Deacon Blue along with DJ sets.
Click on the links below for full details.
Free admission with a mix of live music and DJs providing a backdrop to Troon's biggest bar, café and venue. Open from 6pm Thursday and Friday and from Noon on the weekend all the way through to midnight, The Walker Hall is a FREE LIVE MUSIC VENUE serving a range of real ales and a freshly made Scottish food menu all week. Entrance to this area will be by free wristband but very much subject to capacity.
We've got our own wee seated are for pre or post gig snacking. A great wee Scottish menu is on offer in the upstairs area overlooking the beach and Arran and Ailsa Craig and with a bit of luck the stunning west coast sunset ans some chill out tunes to match! Advance table bookings are now being taken - we suggest allowing an hour for your table.
To complement the free shuttle bus that is running from the golf course all week to the town centre, we have put on another first| Welcome to the free Buskers' Bus Stop featuring local talent playing right outside the front door of the venue. The line up is subject to change but will feature a range of artistes from 6pm and no doubt a few bagpipes too!
